hi,
i was driving my 931 and the rpm's started to drop to 0 then jump back up. i have suspition that the fuel pump may be bad just wanted to see what you guys think. thanks!

Depends - how quickly did they drop? If it's instantly, like shutoff, you may have glitchy wiring on the ignition controller - what year 931?

Also, if it does turn out to be fuel-related, have you already changed your fuel filter? Does it face the correct way (flow is to the rear of the car)? If it's facing the wrong way, replace it with a new one pointed the right way.

Yes, it is; good point though, I didn't realize they're the other way around in RHD?

Yep, RHD filter is where our battery is and goes directly up toward the fuel distibutor rather than back,sideways, and then forward like a LHD.
