931/100LS, 924/5000? hybrids
I did some searching and didn't find much.
I've seen the thread on the 20V turbo/944, but, this is more along the lines of a driver/street car.
Lots of talk about engine swapping, and as I understand it, the early 924/931 engine comes from the VW LT van and the 70's audi 100LS, this engine shares
bell housing bolt patern with the Audi 5 Cyl engines.
So.... this leads me to the question of interesting engine swaps.
who has info on an audi 5 cyl turbo swap into a 924?
or an old school 70's Audi 100LS with a 931 engine in it.
yes it would have a ton of torque steer and all the other problems,
but we had one of these cars when I was a kid and it really was a good car.
could be a fun driver.
