*ANOTHER* 924S SE comes my way
Hi all,
After the fiasco on the previous car, I ran across another one, this one local (L.A.). After a visual inspection and test drive, I passed on the car, but seller was a nice guy and I offered to post it on the Porsche-enthusiast sites, including this ad at Pelican:

Now, I'm having second thoughts about passing on the car. All the "bad" stuff might be easy stuff for a DIY-er, but I'd have to pay to get it all straightened out. But I'm still tempted because you just don't get too many chances at these. My purpose would be to get it looking a little better and get everything functioning, upgrade the interior and use it as a semi-daily driver and take it to some of the beginning auto-x events around here. If it has the M030 suspension and all the other stuff: Koni's, Weltmeisters and Eibach's, it might be set up to be a nice auto-x car to learn on.
We're not talking about breaking the bank here, but I'm just not sure if I would get in over my head in getting all the bits and pieces fixed.

Burning Brakes
Nice looking but sounds a little high, maybe $3500/$4000 if all the stuff was done as advertised. That's the best looking cracked dash I've seen.

Interesting find.
Looks like a lot was done to the car, personally I'd prefer one without all the mods, but non the less this is a clean example of a 924S these days.
