924s Speakers
I have a 1988 924S and I am looking to replace the factory speakers. Anyone have any suggestions as to what fits in the old locations. It currently has (4) speakers. One in each front door and One each in the sides of the rear seat area. Is it best to do 2 or 4 ???

i have just put 4 blaupunkt xt462's (4x6) in there. the back ones easily fit and you can fit 6 1/2's in the back if you take the plate thing off.
as for the front, mine have a reeeally tight fit and the grill pushes on the tweeter a bit. sounds good though and it doesn't rub when i try to roll down my windows.

I put the same Blaus in my 924-s (4x6s). They kinda make the grill stick out a bit. yOnKiNaToR, did yours work OK, or they causing the grill to protude out? Did you have to do any whittling to get them in?
There are probably better speakers, but I was immediatly impressed with the quality of the sound hooked up to the new Blau Alaska.
