924S query! Please help!
I have been offered a well looked after 924s with only 37K miles on the clock
2 Lady owners who have rarely drived it
The price they are wanting is £5,000
IS this a good deal and is there anything I should be asking?
Thanks in advance!

Thats really high, I mean really high. If it is that low mileage, thats one good thing in its favour. Five thousand pounds is what a '91 951 should go for. Offer to go as high as 3000, because it's low mileage. Get a blue book, and try to pick up a Porsche trader magazine.

It is really low milage, which is cool. But-t-t, the 924S is very under rated and doesn't hold its value. Too sad, but true. I paid $3500USD for mine. It was 130KM. and needed some minor maintanence, but good interior and body. My advice... break their hearts and offer what the going rate is, or look for another one. Christ, get a 944S2 for that kind of money.

Prices for good 924Ss over here seem to be about £3-4k. A good '91 951 would cost about £9-10k, with good S2s starting at around £7k. I've been looking for an 88S/89 951 for a few months now and no good ones for less than 7k. UK prices are a lot higher than US car for car sadly.
The low mileage may increase the car's value a fair bit, but ultimately it's worth what someone is willing to pay.

It's too bad that has to be the case with the 924S. I have one that is almost perfect with 39,xxx miles on it and if I sold it I would not sell it for less than $5000-$6000. You don't see them in the paper around here so I think it would sell for at least that much but I'm not selling for at least 5 years anyway.

You can have mine when you pry it from my cold dead hands- I paid 3850.00 USD for mine, 108k Miles. Daily driver even in snow (Gasp!) Needed belts,A/C Compressor, but otherwise little nuisance "fix it yourself" kind of stuff. Resale may be low, but we love to DRIVE them- Right??
Q:? 37k Miles, in the UK? was it ever supposed to be exported?
