OK, would it be hard to put my old carpet back in the car. Or would it fall a part coming out? I know it would be heavy, but cheap is good too!

We need to sit down in the next couple of weeks and talk about our plan. I would like to know how much $$$ what will cost me and then figure out what I want to do. Should Matt and I come up one night and get some beers with you? Let me know what works for you.

Thats me!!! I just got back from VIR with the car. I had 3 days to really get used to it. On the trip down the car started sputtering and eventually died. I pulled the dist cap and cleaned the contacts. She fired up but wasnt running so well. After about 5k rpm shed run out of steam. On sunday morning she woudlnt even start so we dropped the muffler, grabbed a catalytic convert adjustment tool (aka the handle to my jack) and proceeded to "adjust" the cat. After a few minutes of "adjustments" we fired the car up and were greeted to a face full of powdered cat material and a piece that was about 2" in diameter and about 3" long. It started though, and my power was back. The rest of the weekend went great until I went into turn 10 a little hot, and dropped the dirver side off the curbing which cracked the exhaust tip (and therefore the muffler hangers) off the car. A little safety wire to hold the muffler gt me home so I can start making winter repairs and improvements.

Well, Matt Romanowski, Bob (Tinman944) and I took the engine out today. Bob is re-doing the head and the cam. We are just going to go through the engine and go through everything to make sure it is ready to go for a few years. The clutch is getting replaced with a high performance clutch and fly wheel. I will be posting pictures next weekend with updates!
