Porsche Classic Fuel Additive
 

So I bought a couple of these new Porsche Classic fuel additives ( the small green bottle at the right bottom corner of the pic below) I normally drive the 924S every 7 to 10 days for a good 30 mile run . Not so much in the winter though. I would like to use one of these additives as according to Porsche classic they are good for the fuel system etc.

The way to use this additive is to have an almost empty fuel tank, pure one of these additives in fully and then top up with fuel ( I use 100octane unleaded always) and run the car for at least 20 miles is that correct ? anyone used this additive or similar ones ? any advice / tips ?

There's no need to wait until you have an empty fuel tank ... for Winter storage i add a bottle of Stabil to a full tank of fuel
and run the engine for at least 30 minutes in both my 89 911 and my 4.3l inboard boat engine, been doing it for years !

Not sure about the Porsche additive ,but my guess would be that it's expensive so don't throw away the can when it's empty, it
might be worth something in 20 years ... lol
