Question Car dies when making a right turn

87 924S
Something I can't figure out for the life of me.....

Car has been 100% reliable in all temperatures. I recently did a spring cleaning and washed the engine compartment. I'm not sure if this is coincidence or what but now every time I make a right turn the throttle looses its connection.
I've checked the obvious places for water, Cap, Air box, pulled the AFM and throttle body to be sure they were clean. Rotated the wheel while under the hood to be sure some cable isn't caught on the steering rod and knuckles. The computer which is under the drivers side is a 924 is tight and connected.
It seems like a fuel related issue but I'm not sure. The car loses the ability to accelerate over 2K when it happens. If I jerk the wheel left its comes back. The car doesn't die all together just refuses to accelerate. I've been under the dash and rotated the wheel as well.

So weird. I do have an aftermarket wheel in the car so I'm going to pull the wheel and hub next.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious ?
