Anybody know what the seat pattern is called on the 924 carrera gt? They were a deep bucket sport seat, but more squared off than what you see in the 944. I have a set that are kind of stiff and i was going to order some new skins for them, but everything i see is the more common 944 style.

I believe that style is from earlier 911's during that time period, but you will have to research it.

That is the '81-'84 sport seat. All '81-'84 Porsches optioned with sport seats have this seat (1985 MY was a changeover year, seat type depends on model and VIN sequence).

Sport seats have different eras. The change in '81 is subtle. The bolster profile is the biggest difference.

74-80
81-84 (thru '88 for 924)
85-94 (928 gets unique cushion pattern)
94-96 (identical to previous except for stitching pattern, 928 unchanged)
96-98 (hardback, 993 only)

Most CGTs received unique red pinstripe cloth upholstery.
