Default 87 924S front control arm washer question

So, I am rebuilding the front end on an 87 924s and when I removed the long control arm bolts, I found a long bolt, a lock nut and one flat washer on each control arm. I called a local Porsche dealer because I had to order some other nuts and bolts to replace in the front end and when I looked at the PET diagram 401-00, I noticed that the control arm bolt showed two washers on each control arm (#8 on PET 401-00). So I ordered the two washers I thought I had missing and to my surprise, they are spring washers and not flat washers like the ones that came off the car.
I am a bit confused now as to what the proper washer is. Is it two spring washers on each control arm bolts? Or two flat washers? Do they go on the inside right next to the bushing or the outside next to the locknut and bolt head?

Tia
