Missing drain plug?! There is a threaded hole (M10 fine thread) at the bottom of the rack which you will use to lock the rack in the center position. This hole normally takes a red plastic plug to prevent dirt from getting inside. You can use a bolt but make sure you chose the correct length. A bolt too long will also somewhat lock the rack. Should you have locked the rack I could imagine the rack starts building pressure inside, which could blow the seals. It is a possibility but not sure.

Remove and do your own rebuild. Last time I did mine I spent about $80 for parts. Good luck!

Plastic plug? I don't recall one and I just rebuilt my rack. Did I just overlook something?
