Sorting out the power windows on my 87 92+s and I noticed that the the window track where the power window scissor mechanism arms slide across when the glass goes up and down has only a ball on the end. I usually see small plastic wheels in this application on other cars. Are there plastic wheels or rollers of some kind that this car is missing or are they just built like this. I have not been able to find any pictures online to compare. Tia.

You're missing the rollers. I believe you can buy a small kit for them from 944online.com.
