I went to put a belt on my compressor this morning. Oh my heck!!!! Which bolts do you loosen and which do you not? Or, do you have to loosen all of them?
It is supposed to be 114 tomorrow and 110 today. I just want a/c...

Is the compressor supported by 2 bolts on its top and a belt tension-or on the bottom? if so loosen the top 2 bolts and shorten the belt tension-or.

No, it has 3 brackets. Two of them are compound brackets.

Sorry, I thought the 2.0 in the title was enough... I'll be more detailed next time.

I have a book coming, but it is somewhere in delivery purgatory. This is the first car I've had with compound brackets for a compressor.
