I have not yet found a 'Litchgrün/Birch' in Scottsdale to
photograph side-by-side. But they have to be pretty close!

Here is a 'Litchgrün/Birch' gt4 that I recently saw at the
PCA Parade in Spokane earlier this month!

And JUPJAI's Canadian 'Litchgrün/Birch' 911 Turbo S cabriolet
was also in attendance in Spokane!

Hopefully I'll get a side-by-side done with a 'Litchgrün/Birch' at
some point in the near future so we can judge how close they
truly are...or not!

Saludos,
Eduardo

Being colourblind doesn't help, but I should show those to my son- if he's lucky and gets a PTS allocation for his upcoming GT3 he's talking about birch green...

I should click in here more often. I don't anymore and missed the start if this story. Glad to read it now.

I'm a big fan of rare colors though I'm hardly a collector of them. I especially like the mid-70s palette. I have a limonengelb, aka sunflower yellow 86 Carrera. I had a Zambezi 74 914. Currently I have a bumble bee (with sunflower accents) and a really ratty signal orange 73 2.0. And I sold my 912 to buy a Gulf Blue 74 911 normal.

They've got one of those car condos here in Larimer County. I've considered one but if I did that I'd want the business there. And that's a car condo no-no. So it's all stuffed on the farm. You know how to find me if you want to come down out of the mountains for a visit. Though I warn you it's chaos. My newest girl turns 8 weeks in The morning.

this willow green 914-6 sat for over a year at the Porsche dealer in denver as no one wanted to get near a lime green car with a tan interior!!! Now of course we LOVE the color combination

Wow! What a cool read! Just stumbled upon it as I am securing a '74 2.0 Project Complete Car this week. This will be my 1st 914 and really looking forward to driving one finally. Interested at a Gold one years ago, but passed and see that you have my Fave Green of all with Chartreuse in 2nd. Give us an update on yours please as this thread is ancient!! Thanks!

I'll see Eduardo tomorrow AM at our bi-weekly car guy coffee group get together so I'll tell him to update the thread. He just got back from Rennsport, lucky dog.

Great thread Eduardo...sorry to not see you at Rennsport had my 2 adult sons in tow...great times! We have not talked about 914's before. My first Porsche and a new one at that, was a 1973 2.0! Great car. BTW 000 magazine has a nice article about a custom build 914 in the back of the magazine.

Love 000. And Pete is a big 914 fan so we're lucky on that front.
