I have purchased the new thermostat from AutoAtlanta for my stock 2.0 and was trying to find a thread or some photos on the required modifications to the support bracket and cable... to no avail. Does anyone have photos, description or a link to a thread on this small mod? Thanks!!

there is a good instruction sheet that we have here, basically, remove the front of the bracket so the thermostat can expand, drill a small hole in the back of the bracket for the locating pin, and crimp a loop on the end of the thermostat cable and secure to the head of the thermostat with the provided screw

For my 74 Dreamsicle LE, I just bought and installed most of the parts for the thermostat/bracket/roller/cable/rubber seal system, and one of the wire hinges for the passenger side flapper. Not too hard a job. Questions?

Funny I was watching an old episode of Wheeler Dealers the other day and they were doing a 914 and specifically showed the installation and operation of the new style thermostat!
