Default Any thoughts on this one?

Hi guys, newbie to 914's. My other P-cars are an 87' 930 and an 02' 996TT.
Always been a fan of the 914, as a kid had a neighbour that owned one, got hooked.

That being said, AutoAtlanta has a 73' for sale:
http://www.autoatlanta.com/carsales/...g.php?id=48111

Is it worth a closer inspection? I went once to their shop years ago, seemed legit. Do they have a good rep in the community?
Is this a good car, or should I try and find something more "restored"?
My goal is as a keeper, Sunday driver.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

If you are serious about buying a 914 then you should join 914world. That being said, post your request there. I will not comment about AutoAtlanta however there is a lot of history on the owner. See what toe 914world boys have to say.
Good luck!

Got it. I assume it's "bad history" you refer to.

I see you've been over at 914world. Looks like a lot of feedback.

A 930, 996TT and a 914 is the perfect combination - a well-diversified Porsche portfolio!!

We have a lot of 914s on our site as we let our customers advertise their cars there.
On that note, we have currently the best 914 inventory that we have had in five years. Among the cars are several 76 models, one with just 32,000 original miles, and a 1973 base zambezi green 914 survivor recently seen at the 914 okteenerfest. I personally stand behind our 914s and the products we sell and am always by the phone any time one needs 914 tech advice, OR to pass by a 914 one is interested in for my opinion. 914s are the rage these days and gaining tremendously in appreciation AND appreciation!!

Good for you Dave! That particular silver one has been sold to a enthusiast in New York. We spent way too many hours on that car but loved every one. I love to (as the Count says) give love to 914s!
