This is a picture my BIL took in the infield at the Daytona 24 in the early '70's of Peter Gregg's 916. I'm assuming that is the same car as in the picture a few posts ago???

Went on a little ride with some neighbors on Wednesday- I was supposed to take the 914 but wasn't sure it was up to that long a ride- probably would have done fine and I had to take crap from the 2 914's that did come. At least I was in a mid-engine Porsche...
Following the V12 Aston was impressive though- it sounded fantastic!!

yes it is, thank you for posting it! I look at that car every day here at Automobile Atlanta, it is resting nicely in a big display case along with five other 914-6 brothers.

Hopefully it is driven every so often even though it is irreplaceable! Take it to the Parade in Missouri next summer. I'm sure it would be a BIG hit! (Went to the Tan Tara Parade back in the 80's and will have to make it there again! )

(PM responded to BTW)

An original paint car with parking lot dings. '74 2.0, trailered back three weeks ago from the Central Valley in Ca.
Cleaning out two pounds of mouse poo.....
Other than the hell hole (don't get me started) the vehicle is rust and accident free.

Needs new rubber bits, carpet kit and seat done. Them meeces ate some pieces, of the seats, peed and pooped on the carpet. Needless to write...........the poor dear was giving off a "stank' in the cabin area.
This will remain stock in it's current form.

For my next act............currently master minding a 914 GT budget analyses. Steel flares, Balsa and glass lids front and back. 3.2 as it is a fav of mine.

Nice find. Too bad about Mickey and his friends. Still fighting them in the crawl space of my new house.

Certainly a great find, original paint california car….. cannot get any better. Deserves an immediate light freshening keeping as much of the original patina as possible

Found this car in a parking lot last week. You can have it for $500 or so. '73. I can get you in contact with the owner if you want. Interior is trashed.
