Default New toy...

My son picked up his new race toy today- parking next to the Porsches tonight, may take some time away from finishing the 914 restoration... and I may even get to try it out on a lapping day

I thought FE but didn't recognize the tow hooks off the rollbar. Low or high serial number? Transmission updates? Which shocks?

Supposed to have all updates. Penske shocks. We've got a lot to learn but initially very impressed... spent most of this afternoon doing the bead seat- it is curing now. Chassis #29.

Also had time to do some work on the 914 too- !!

They are well designed and built cars. Lots of fun to drive and being spec, you can't get yourself too lost on setup.

Yep was sorry to see the 993 go but he learned a lot playing with it, and I'm sure he'll eventually get another 993 someday.

This definitely doesnt replace the 993...but excited to get back into the club racing. I have my eye on another 993 as soon as the owner is ready to part with it
