I shaped these door bars to allow easier leg swing during entry/exit for the "Business office".

Why not fiberglass or carbon doors?

We are using the '74 doors with the DOT reinforcement. Also using these steel doors as a good frame attaching point for the plexiglass slider windows. I may use some Sheridan 914 f'glass door skins in the future.

Left rear air jack , tripod support plates welded in place.
1/4" npt opening at the top is for the air line, which will raise and lower the 914 for tire change duty.

Inner support for quarter panel...using the Sheridan wide body. In the top pic the small wing nut is holding to a small area of left-over original fender mtl.
I later boxed this bracket in for strength, works perfect. The oe fender support struts are cut away, in the wrong place for the new quarter panels. I also trimmed and left most of the rear sheet metal roll pan. It will graft into a new structure for the under body ground effect diffuser.

Holy ****, this thread is amazing! What a build, can't wait to see where this goes.

I have often fantasized about one day building a Beck 904 replica with a turbo cayenne v8 in it, so it was pretty awesome to come across this thread.

Good luck, and keep us updated!
