Come one come all to the 1st Annual McSwap Meet at Original Customs in Sonoma California. May 21st and 22nd 9am start both days...

This is primarily a 914 event but Original Customs is a very VW and Porsche friendly shop so if you VW or 911 guys want to come down - bring it on!

Food will be served both days by a caterer with a BBQ trailer. This is at your cost.

On the 22nd, we will do a drive through the hills and backroads of Sonoma and Napa Counties. This will be led by Randy Wentzel of Roadglue fame. His drives are legendary!

I'm definitely interested in this get-together, after all, Sonoma is just up the street from me. I might even have a couple bottles of wine in my cooler that came from there. Let me work on child care for that weekend, who will arrange lodging?

Matt, I have good information that there will be two 2270 crankshafts for sale at the McSwap Meet... If you're going to keep letting Jaymus O'Gratton drive your car at track events I suggest you get your tail out here!!! ;-)

Peter, I don't know which part of the post you are asking about. If I were coming up from Bakersfield, I would stay in Fairfield. You are about 1/2 an hour a way and the motel prices are rational because it isn't a tourist destination.
