79 928 for 914 miscl/engine
79, interior parted out already. Not sure if I want a beater 928. Sure I don't want to part it out. Basically I bought it without research, because it was melting into the P/Os lawn. I paid a thousand, he happily trailered to my house.
Having cleaned it up. Gotten most simple things working. Car starts, runs, shifts, stops. All lights work. I still have to: mechanically check # oil pressure, troubleshoot alternator,fuel&temp guages, and speedometer.
Car was silver, repainted blue. Most all finishes are uv decayed. Steering wheel leather, instrument pod, wheel coatings.
Long story short . the garage is too crowded already. I'm inclined to let the 928 go.
No great deal. Just a reasonable alternative to rotting into a lawn.
