911 rear reflector?
I am thinking about picking up my first 914, but that's not the point of this message here... I've seen dozens of 914s with a 911-style rear reflector between the tail lights and I LOVE that! I've looking on a bunch of parts sites and in the stack of P-car parts catalogs I have and haven't seen anything for a conversion kit. How is this done and how much can I expect to spend on this?
Thanks everyone! (And feel to toss in some photos of this!)

I haven't looked at those in a while, so I'm not sure if anybody still makes a "kit". If not, you can duplicate it by buying an early 911 rear reflector (the kind that fastens with studs instead of the later style speed nuts), and trim the ends off to fit between the 914 taillights (that's all these "kits" were). Then you'll need to install an electric trunk release (you can use a "universal" style from a company like Autoloc). Check Automobile Arlanta. They may still carry these. I would just be sure whatever you get, that it utilizes a "genuine" Porsche reflector. I purchased one kit years ago that had a non-Porsche reflector and it didn't look good at all. Good luck hunting!

HI,
these generally are 911 items cut down to fit. most I've seen have a hole drilled for the boot lock (sorry, trunk lock !)
They can be found easily most 914 guys accquire one in their parts heap sooner or later.
