New 914 owner here!
Hi everyone. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself as I'll likely be lurking around here, searching threads in the near future.
I just purchased a fully-restored 1974 914 2.0 to go with my '86 944. It is Guards Red over Tan, and is basically stock except for a Bursch exhaust, Konis all around, and new Ferodo brake pads. It was previously owned by a fellow PCA member and looks nearly showroom new. I have a great set of records dating back to when the car was new (including records of the restoration), so I don't plan on doing too much to it other than maybe adding a Momo or Sparco steering wheel and, of course, driving it and enjoying it.
It feels really good to finally have a 914 of my very own. I've loved them since I had my first ride in one 10 or so years ago when I was in high school. I'll post photos as soon as I can.
