What do you guys think of this?
My 914 is as pictured in the avatar. White, black bumpers, black top, black wheels, black interior.
So the time has come to paint the thing. And it'll be done with first disassembling the whole car. So I'll get into every nook and cranny. My co-worker who's done his share of bodywork recommended to paint the outside and inside black, refinish the bumpers and wheels and make it a nice shiny black. The top will also get refinished.
What do you think of a black/black/black 914?
There was also talk of a white or red racing stripe about 6 inches wide across the hood and trunk.

All black if done well looks great. I remember a 914-6 of Chuck Stoddard's from the '70's I saw at a Parade that looked great with mild fender flares and rose petals with the centers painted black to match. Just get rid of those hideous front fender side reflectors and make it look like a euro model!
