Default Wanna switch your boxter 7" for 6" wheels?

I have heard you 14 guys run 6" wheels all around for the best setup.

I have also heard that many of you have changed to late offset wheels....

....ok, here goes...

I have a set of Boxter wheels on my 944 - 7 rear, 6 front. I would like 7 all around (factory spec). Anyone have these wheels and wanna swap? They come up cheap on ebay all the time (mine were 375 delivered...with great rubber!)

That would look awesome I think. However the "standard" 914s had 4 lug hubs. Except the 914-6. So I guess finding someone to trade with may prove difficult. I would cruise over to 914club.com (or whatever it is) and try my luck there.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the info.

I have heard of several guys that did the lug conversion with bolt-on spacers.

Gives them lots of options for aftermarket porsche wheels.
