That is indeed often the best way ( or the only way) to help the car to turn in tight corners in the mountains as i intent to use the car primarily for hitoric rallies like San Remo, Le Tour Auto, Monte Carlo or Liege Rome Liege as you see here in 2005 in the Stelvio Pass with the Miura which is too dear now to use in those rallies

yes you are absolutely right as the car had been restored from 2008 to 2014 . This is actually the reason why i bought it as the body was perfectly done, rewelded and had been galvanized but......
- it had been “pimped” : wrong wheels, wrong interior , all kind of equipment that is not needed like central locking doors, heavy acoustic mats everywhere
- the suspension and braking system have been upgraded but it actually deteriorated the ride and function
- the engine and gearbox were not too fresh , it has been done earlier but all the hardware, bolts, screws etc were not right and it had been sprayed silver with rattle cans to give the impression of a clean fresh engine
so having the right body that has been widened and reinforced at Porsche early seventies , i decided it was the right car to give it the go that fits the looks, away from the “alll show no go “ car it had become

Still a lot of metal work to do, reinforcements, brackets, closing all redundant holes...
Oil cooler has found its place, tow hook moved and reinforced
Welding of the reinforcement have left traces in the front compartment
Securing the bonnets needs the brackets for the pins
Some holes have to be drilled, other have to be shut
Reinforcements for the front axle
More reinforcements
