Another view of the car on the lift. I bought this rotisserie from Northern Tool. The design has two key features. Hydraulic rams at either end allow easy lifting and dropping by about 18 inches. This made it easy to attach the brackets with the car on jack stands, and then elevate it enough to clear the side while rotating to sideways. The second feature allows for tuning the position of the car relative to the pivots, thus getting the center of gravity close to the rotation axis.

Had just an hour to play in the garage today, but got the struts and steering separated from the front suspension, and pulled the torsion bars.

And on to the floor. Here's after rough cuts of three sections, between attachment points with other panels. Next: LOTS of spot welds to drill out.

Starting on removing the floor from all the attachments.
First, drill out the spot welds on the jacking donut.:
Then, drill more welds and remove the corner plate:
Finally, lots of spot welds along the sill, center tunnel, inner firewall and outer firewall:
And a few segments of the floor remnants removed, exposing inner panels--and some surface rust:

Finished the other side today, so all the remnants of the rear floor are off. I need to grind off the spot weld remnants and clean up rusty spots.
Here's the old rear floor, in pieces.
