Heat shrink, after splitting the Y, might have been an option prior to loom installation?
I did think about replacing the vinyl tubing, but that would have required removing at least some of the crimp connectors on the leads "downstream".

More work today on the front harness, finalizing the position and feeding leads into specific locations.

That includes grommets for the fog lamp/horn leads and the headlights.

And under the dash.

I worked on the brake hard lines today, along with the rebuilt pressure regulator valve, all from PMB.

And then the frunk release, including a new cable housing.

Looking good Bob...

Getting the '71 ready for undercarriage cryo-cleaning.... longitdionals don't look too bad for 50 years old do they??? And that's even having to drive the car in IA winters the first 4 years!! (though I did remove the rockers for cleaning at least twice every winter!)

True, but did you (or anyone else) every spray cheap undercoating on everything?

Got a lot of the 50 year old Ziebart off. That stuff was a mess but probably saved my car as it was my only car for its first four years and had to be driven through IA winters... just a few quick pix when they were done. The floor was an absolute mess but really no residual on the car itself.

Looks great. How much impact on the paint? Does it strip rust?
