A German customer of ours came by and showed us some pics of his m471, that actually was the pace car for a race in 1971 when Pedro Rodriguez was killed. Extensive work has been done to the car over the years including several different color changes.

At the same time, another one of our 916 customers sent us pics of a 1972 m471 needing a bunch of help, (notice the jack post missing!) It too has had a lot of work done including a left front fender section and remote oil cooler installed. It is for sale with an outrageous (in my opinion) asking price!
