Heat Exchanger Hell

Heat Exchanger Hell
1970 914-6 All original. Factory exchangers full of holes.
First set of Dansk are horrible and don't really fit.
Second set fit pretty well except that the outlets are about 5cm wider than muffler inlet (picture showing the outlets relative to the support bracket below). Can this be fixed? How? Should I just crank on them and make them fit? Seems like they would break. Have a muffler guy modify them and/or the original muffler?
Also there is one bolt on the passenger side flange that is basically impossible to reach. (Pic attached). How the heck do people tighten that thing?

Can you loosen the nuts that mount the heat exchangers to the heads and adjust them to fit? Generally, you shouldn't tighten any of the exhaust fasteners until the entire exhaust system is assembled.
Can you get that last nut with a short socket and a universal joint?

the first of the dansk were off but they corrected them and stoddard bought back all of the misfitting ones, the exhaust nuts use six nuts and six allen nuts, reached through the holes in the exchangers with a long allen wrench extension. You may want to install the heat exchangers, the muffler and the bracket loosely and then snug everything. Dansk is a good company and stands behind their parts.
By the way, the gold cupped washers just above the transmission tail cover ears are upside down!

I have 3 sets of the factory 914-6 exhaust. Some small holes in some that can be repaired. Haven't advertised them or even priced them but, if they will help let me know.
