Ordered a 2275 stroker with a scat C35 cam and twin 44 carbs..a daily driver set up with torque which will hopefully later allow me to set up an air conditioning system as well to make it a total daily driver.
Thats awesome! Looks incredible. Congrats on build

Wow! Just wow!
It’s great that people like you with the Porsche passion are willing to carry out this “craziness” in places where it’s perhaps considered an eccentricity. Sure, the nuttiness of keeping these cars alive is eccentric to a degree, but you’ve shown dedication to the faith. This is to be saluted.
Keep us all apprised of your continuing progress.

How true...eccentricity is considered madness but the number of mad people here seems to be growing. Just attaching a picture of my ongoing project... its an Alfa GT Stepnose Bertone coupe form 1966 with a twin spark 2.0 litre engine. The interior is being fitted and the car should be home in the next two to three days

Default the 2276 stroker

the stroker engine finally arrived from the USA. Ordered form Summit racing who get SCAT to subcontract for them ...or does SCAT get Summit racing to market for them??? The engine is going to have a pertronix distributor and coil.

The tin has been put on...doghouse cooling tin... and the IDF 44s are on. There is one problem though...attaching an oil cooler.. but the oil pump cover is fouling the crank pulley. I think the solution will have to be a spacer with machining of the pulley. A 5 inch pulley is supposed to do the job as well but it slows the fan down defeating part of the purpose of the oil cooler so illogical.....Thank goodness the exhaust has fit well....the 2276 is the same width as a standard 1600 engine

Default new exhaust for the stroker

The engine in position. There have been several developments. Attached an external oil filter and oil cooler. This turned out to be a disaster as there were several leaks...the pipes would slip and the oil sprayed out during driving twice. I decided to dispose of the external oil system. The Vintage speed exhaust a 356/912 for the type 1 stroker custom made for the car was obtained from Vintage speed in Taiwan.

Haven't posted in a little while. Took it out for breakfast in the humid weather 95 percent humidity and 38 Celsius temperature. Found a cooler basement
