Default 912E in Mississippi

I have been speaking with a private seller regarding his 1976 912E located in Jackson, Mississippi.

Any RListers who would be interested in doing a preliminary look/see at this car and can give me a name of a shop that would be able to do a PPI ?

Thanks.

Lol. (nautoncall - that's a hell of a debut post)

but i will say, it prompted me to cruise the Jackson MS craigslist and saw a few 356's on there at not California pricing.

Sorry, was in a hurry. Just saw the ad and talked to the owner. He daily drives it. I'm a newbie here obviously. Had/have multiple cars but never a Porsche and I like the classic lines and not crazy prices. Just was thinking I could pick this up enjoy it for a year and at least get my money back.

I've owned one since 1981. Except for the very early model numbers, (2000 of them) they came with galvinized bodies so the are, how do they say it, rust resistant. Mine likes to blister paint off, though. Very simple car with a simple engine. Had mine totally rebuilt 10 years ago for $1600. All screws actually screw into metal and very very few plastic fasteners. AND the prices are on the rise!
