You've got love subliminal messages. As the picture loaded I saw the 365 address. I'm slightly dyslexic, and then looked at that pretty little car. The early ones really do have pedigree tied to the 356. Great lines. Not selling mine either.

That is why I don't want to paint mine... so it does not pick anyone's interest, lol...

I love the blue currently on my car and thankfully it is a high quality repaint. I don't look forward to the day it does need paint because current market values of these cars will push me to do it bare metal back to the original polo red.

I really love my 68 and can't wait to get it back on the road in the next few weeks after a engine rebuild but someone offer me $85K and its gone.

Default Seriously what are 912's going for ?

I bought mine just because I love the shape of the 911/912 body but with prices above 100K on most early 911's figured I would buy a 912. Joy to drive.

Yes they really are. I have the five speed and I marvel about how close the ratios are. I really enjoy shifting through the gears.

As for serious prices... I recently assisted Hagerty with a few valuations and we found solid support for multiple 912 versions over 60k selling prices. (with peaks over $80k ~ the Gooding January sale springs to mind).

Heck yeah! I drove them both yesterday just to celebrate their differences. Both aces in my book.

You can still get the roof racks

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911S...item27fdc7ec54

I have had no luck finding engine lid racks.
