Thanks, have been looking for one for a while, felt very lucky to find one with almost no rust and an engine and trans in good condition.

It still has enough stuff to keep me busy, (I am pulling the carbs off tonight to rebuild) but can still get it out for a drive and enjoy.

Thanks, paint is OK and I can live with it for a few years.

Got the 912 so I would have a fun car to drive while we strip the 914 down to the sheet metal, media blast and repaint. My Son and I have spent the last 5 years totally rebuilding the 914 and now the only thing left is to take it all apart and give it a great paint job.

Once the 914 is finished the plan is to do the same with the 912 but in the meantime hopefully I will be able to keep it on the road. While we restore the interior, and some exterior stuff, the front bumper needs to be replaced and I am looking for some chrome head light (sugar scoop) trim or check to see if I can get these painted ones rechromed.
