I'm being told the SWB is the only rebuildable striker on the ESR.

You know Bob I could have rebuilt mine. Put the kit in them, had the metal cad plated again. But the reproductions from SMC were only $8 more then just the rebuild kit, and all I had to do was bolt them in place.

They are pretty, and work like factory. I do have one caveat. I found that the reproductions have the countersunk holes for the cheese-head bolts just a touch shallow. Meaning that the bolts - while flush, are not "as flush" with the striker plate face. But only a bloke like me would notice.

At $42 I just had to do it

Are your bolts re-plated or do they come with the strikers? They are shiny new looking.

Wire brush wheel? Polishing wheel? Zinc electroplating home kit? Airbrush?
