Is there anything rare about this 912? New owner looking
 

I own a 987 Cs, 996 c2, and cayenne. I'm looking to add a 912 to the stable. I'm local to this car but wondering why it is going for a car that is in very good shape. Is there something rare about it?

That is a 911 and needs lots of work and $.

It will need a lot of work. But any "long-hood" brings big money these days, and that is a pretty early and relatively low-production version of same. I don't think the price is out of line all things considered.
