What Should I do?
I am looking at a '69 912 Porsche at a lot here in Bellingham Washington, It is $3995 and in running condition, It has an upgraded VW engine and an alarm system. It also has approx. 130K miles. Is this a good deal and why do you think that?
Thanks a bunch!!!

Hey "no name"
69 porsche is pretty cool, i very fond of the old 911 bodies. My biggest concern reguardless of the shape of the body, pans, ect... Is that if you pay $4,000 for a car with a VW engine, are you going to be satisfied with the VW engine? A rebuilt 912 engine will cost you in the $2,500 range with a core (give or take, there are some deals out there) so if you put a small porsche engine in the car your at just under $7,000 and you haven't addressed any other problems that may exist. For that much you could go and find your self a mid 70's 911. Just a thought. Like I said I like the old 911's I have a 66-912 that im restoring and just bought a 65-911 parts car. Good luck!!
