of course "odo reads 44k" means (and seller confirms) mileage is likely 144k.

i looked at it yesterday, and it's spectacular. no evidence of rust. all chrome and trim are bright and clean. original wheels (there was one in the trunk) look brand spanking new. dash, upholstery, headliner clean and smooth, no cracks or tears. engine compartment spotless. glass and headlights pure.

I'm pretty sure that is not a 1969 912 color. Check the paint code on the door against 1969 paint codes (available over at the 912 registry site). If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Appears too light to be Signal Yellow or Bahama Yellow.
Leaving Canary Yellow and Champaign Yellow...
Did you end up buying?
