Default Faabspeed re-circulation-bypass-hose, which parts is this replacing?

Hi
I am currently looking for upgrades for my Porsche and i came over this hose on Faabspeed.
Porsche 911 Turbo 930 C2 Turbo-Style Re-circulation Bypass Hose - Fabspeed Motorsport

What is the purpose of this hose?
Will it replace the orginal bypass valve or where should it go? This part?

I have also started thinking about changing out my stock IC to a long neck one.
Which one is the best for my setup, and will it actually gain me more hp?
The setup on my car today is:

SC camshafts
K-29 KKK Turbo
Turbokraft injectorblocks
OBX Headers
RarlyL8 exhaust
1 bar wastegatespring
Kennedy Engineering clutch
MSD CDI ignition
