Default 3.0

Seem to have a bump over 3.3's. This low mileage 78 at mecum has stalled at $140k. Has anyone seen it to know why such a low number? (Low is a relative term here)

Not sure about the 78, but if the 5k mileage is legit, that's surprising.

Non-original 180mph speedo, replaced intercooler, H4's, other mods? Strong bidding based on just what is visible in the photos.

I think that result was from a prior auction- there was a nice 77 silver over red tartan that sold for $105k, seemed very cheap.

Correct me if i'm wrong, these cars where ~60-80k when new, adjust for inflation, basically sold at or less than MSRP in today's money ?

F1

'86-'89s maybe, but a fully loaded '79 was approximately $45K. Good point though. I think less than $100K are really good buys for '70 era turbos in good condition. Fair would be $125K maybe? Closer to $200K for a nice '76? This is based on what I have seen lately - market softening some in the past six months.
