Guys,

I tweeked some valves at Watkins Glen early in the week ... I'd appreciate some input from the group regarding the best in the business wrt sending the heads off for repair/rebuild. Thanks in advance.

Steve Weiner at Rennsport Systems in Portland, OR. He has done my 911S (MFI) heads for my 73 911S and my 79 930 (camshaft froze due to an oil blockage and stripped the cam adjustment gear).

And I am sorry to hear this Dave. Do you have all the factory tools to strip the engine down and rebuild it? If not, go visit Steven Stomski and buy his tools You will not be sorry!

Dan Jacobs if you want to stay somewhat local.Lot of guys I raced with swore by him for the air cooled stuff. Helped me out a few times at the track as well. Good dude.

Mike Bavaro has done a lot of motor work for me in the past but his plate may be a bit full right now. He does all the motor work in his shop at his house...himself.

FWIW..I've never read a bad word about Weiner and in the age of the interweb that's a rarity.
