I know it took me awhile to get this done after picking her up, but honestly I've just been basking in the reality that I own this car. These photos definitely show it in it's best light. Its no fun posting pictures of the flaws!

nicely done J

Keep this thread updated with all the little nuances that you end up fixing,... &/or upgrades you decide to implement!

Ques: So did you buy this 930 before you completed the sale of your '90 C4 & '11 1M?

J,
Beautiful '87 930. Bet it feels real different than your C4 or M1. The 930 is a special ride. Enjoy it and much luck!

Yup. The C4 an 1M are still for sale. The M actually isn't listed yet.... But I will be really sad to see it go for sure. Wonderful car. The 930 is basically bumping the M out of the garage. The C4, is great, but just not fast enough for me.

J,
The engine case underneath looks nice & clean too. Props.
Any work done there? or just some cleaning?

No work done there. Was covered in oil, one pass with the pressure washer and thats the result. I've driven her quite a bit too, there are some small leaks, but this engine is suprisingly almost leak free. The only work done so far is tie rods, tighten wheel bearings, alignment, oil and filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, fuel accumulator, fuel distributor plate, fuel distributor to airbox gasket, and some misc hoses. All things to get her running right and tight to acess the cars issues as a whole. I wanted to get a feel for what the car needs before deciding how far to go with restoration / modification.

In my best Borat voice: "Veddy nice!"

Owning a Whale is like owning a Van Gogh. Not the best painting, but its the best painting to own. Nobody ever said, "A 930, why would you buy one of those?" Its the Godfather of the modern everyday supercar.
