Default US -76 in Sweden

Hi.

Need advice from you guys.

I own a -76 Turbo that was US delivered (no 110 to US) but exported to Sweden in 2007.
I might sell this car and my question is if the US market would be interested in importing it back?

The car had a very thorough restoration but had a color change from silver to white. Engine is not matching numbers but from another -76 US Turbo so correct year and fully rebuilt and updated by Ollies. All parts on the car has been refurbished or replaced with new parts. Car is missing it's original service book but has alot of reciepts. My plan is to either return the car to as much stock as possible or sell as is to someone to enjoy or as a very sound base to a stock rebuild.

So is it a waste of time targeting the US or should I just focus on europe?

Advise please.

Regards
Peder

I'd sell it who ever is willing to write the biggest check- these are in demand on both sides of the pond.

Yes but why I ask is if it is worth going to the trouble to get the car silver again and I know atleast here in Sweden people are looking for cars that was sold in Sweden first and thought maybe that was the case in the US aswell.

The car is in very good condition and the paint job almost better than factory so it feels sad to return it to silver but I know most people are a bit hesitant to colorchanges.

I'd put it up for sale and see what happens- probably an easier sale in Europe since car is already there.

Good Luck!

I had a 76 here in the US and I sold it in Germany. Also sold a 64 Corvette in Germany. Good market.
