Ignition Module

If I am not mistaken MSD6AL is better than MSD6A because MSD6AL has rpm limit. Does my 930 really need rpm limit?
Is it bolt on system?
Thank you

^The only problem with MSD that I can think of is that it does not look stock. Otherwise, they work great, easy to install, you can use them to drive a different coil, they are generic so they can drive electronic tach, can be mounted in a variety of applications.
I have bought at least 10 of them in various cars since 1984: Drag cars, and fast road race cars, ... I can name models and engines by memory. I have installed under the hood, and in glove compartment to "hide" the big red box. They do get hot, and they have a heat sink, so it would good if you can install where there is air flow. But I think that they have automotive rated electronics inside, so they are rated to around 105C.
6A is the basic 6AL gets you the rev limiter. I would get the latter, because, I don't know...
(just about every muscle car or hot rod and many race cars in the US have the MSD on them...)
