Default 8x16 Front Wheel

Hello,

I want to purschase track wheel for my 89 930 turbo and I have the following proposal:

JLL Cup copies

Front 8x17 ET 23
Back 9x17 ET 15

My question is for the front wheel, standard is 7x16 ET 23, the 8" ET 23 will be ok or not?

8" et23 should fit fine in the front without rubbing the fender lip or inside wheel well. Some folks run 9" fronts with the correct offset [~30+/-]. Most would fit a 225/45 on the 17" rim, as the larger diameter 235/45 has caused rubbing issues on some cars. I suppose another option would be to fit a smaller diameter 235/40.

Wheel fitment would depend primarily on whether or not the back side of the face/spokes are sculpted enough to clear the factory baby brembos.
