You must have access to different records, I show 2 77's, a 76 and an 81 not sold in Monterey

Another 76 sold last night at the Gooding auction for $230k, needs a complete resto. 76's did very well this past weekend.

I believe all but a few 930s sold. They all set new records for high bids and sold prices.

I also thought that $750 was going to be the mark given that the 69s sold for $1.2m. I guess there were a couple of people who had to have it.... Great car - I saw it at the last rennsport & again on Friday at Mecum. Such a special color & original owner.

Who bought it....? Peterson Museum?

I went for a ride in this car circa 1976-77ish. The movie director/producer Floyd Mutrux bought it from Hollywood Porsche for his girlfriend Penny Miller who lived down the street. Floyd took all the neighborhood kids for a wild ride down Glenoaks blvd. in Sun Valley CA. From that day on I always wanted one. Incredible sale!!!

here is an article about the sale...
