Default EFI Group Buy

I'm in the process of researching EFI systems and am about to make purchase. I'm in touch with four others who are doing the same. If you are serious about getting an EFI system in the very near future, please post here or send me a private message describing what you're up to, and I'll add you to the list. I'm hoping that if enough of us get together on this, there may not only be significant financial benefits, but also other support and information sharing that would be helpful. The brands widely under consideration at the moment include DTA, Autronic, Haltech and Electromotive. So far, none of us seem to be interested in Motec because of the cost. If enough people participate, it could be that different sub groups would go with one brand, while others go with another. I'm hoping we can share price quotes, discuss dealers and tuners, and generally help each other out.

Count me in on the Electromotive Tec 3 if you go that way.

I might be interested in Electromotive Tec3, Halltech or AEM (if someone looks into it). Plan on supercharging a 3.2.

If you want to go Tec 3, I know a vendor that might be interested.

As an update, there are now about seven buyers in our informal group, all of whom are ready to purchase now. The majority so far have favored DTA, but there are some recent cracks in the armor on that idea. There are several who are interested in other brands, including the Electromotive TEC III and the Haltech E11. There are millions of things to consider when making an investment like this -- and it goes beyond just the initial purchase price, as we are all learning (or already knew!). No one has researched or discussed the AEM, Accel, or SDS systems yet. Those of you above (sprbxr, Roamer): I'll be contacting you soon. I'm very high on the idea of sharing ideas and seeing if we can get together for financial benefits as well as technical, and moral support. There is strength in numbers!

Rob, I figure I share AEM, has nothing for porsche I was told some time back, Accel, some 911 has use them some swear by them this is another avenue and SDS systems I been told is kind of primitive as you are very limited on what you can do but once more the options are endless

RobS,

Take a look at the Link system. It is set up for porsche. I have it on my car. price is very reasonable. ECU is $ 1350.00, but I understand it can be had for much less. Offers more than most other systems at this price.

M42Racer,

Thanks. That's right, I keep forgetting to check it out. Would you please write me a PM so I can communicate with you offline?
