Picking her up tomorrow! Can't wait to drive this puppy!
Flying down to Houston, driving it back (about 400miles). Sam even offered to come pick me on his plane!

Congratulations.
I'd be interested to learn about his recommended break-in procedure.

Thats a pretty good break-in distance. Nice and flat too. Probably will say...don't lug, stay under 4k and vary the rpm's from time to time. Dump that oil after the trip. My guy (Mike Bavaro) would do the valves and check the rest of it over.

I'll ask Sam and report back. Thanks for the tips. I'm not getting any sleep tonight!

I'm still waiting to finish my break-in. There is still a bit of salt around which should be gone this weekend.

Well, made it back uneventfully! Sam did a wonderful job. The car purrs like a kitten, the K27 spools very nicely, with a bit less lag, as it comes on earlier on the band (around 3200 RPM). He was also kind enough to install one of his "Pcar mounts" (http://pcarmounts.com), free of charge. It's a very cool product, check it out. I'm planning on using my i-Phone with a Kinivo BTC455, to stream music wirelessly to the Becker CDR220 unit. Sam drove about 200 city miles on it, I added another 300-some highway miles today. Later in the week I'll get it dynoed, do an oil change (just to be extra careful), and I'll report back. Very happy camper!

Thanks guys. Plan is to do a full interior resto later this year, then the exterior (paint, rubber seals, etc). This one's a keeper.

Thanks! Had a drive yesterday AM, WOW! That K27 pulls like a freighttrain! Several 0-140mph pulls like nothing. That rush in 3rd gear as the turbo spools up!
I'm in love with this car.
