Awesome car.
Regarding the certification of 911's modified by the Werk I facility in Zuffenhausen, I had been corresponding with the Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) Certificate of Authenticty Group (CoA). The way the CoA works is the vehicle in question is certified as such as it leaves the assembly line. The CoA will only show the options installed on the assembly line. It will not show any additional modifications performed by the Zuffenhausen facility. In my correspondence with PCNA, I requested they investigate with Porsche AG to find records showing my car was modified with Sonderwunsch Programme options. They did indeed find records showing it is a Sonderwunsch Flachbau and they sent me a letter stating so. However, there is a catch....they could not or would not declare it had the 330 BHP engine. When I rebuilt the engine some years back, I took photos of the engine internals, exhaust, turbocharger, front mounted oil cooler and plumbing which pointed to it being the 330 BHP engine. Whether the itemized list of option paperwork at Zuffenhausen exists to document these Sonderwunsch vehicles, I don't know. Hopefully, over time, more info will be provided to us. So, if anyone wishes to get their factory modified cars certified, I strongly recommend that you pony-up for a CoA, AND request at that time, that you believe it is a Werk I modified car. Be patient, the process may take a while.

Limited Edition "40″ Porsche 911 Turbo - Aircooled Years” to be released on 11/01/2015
BMB Berlin Motor Books is to publish a strictly limited print run of 2015 copies worldwide of the book “40″ Porsche 911 Turbo – Aircooled Years”.
The second edition of the Porsche Turbo book “Aircooled Years 1975 - 1998″ has 70 extra pages and offers an even more detailed statistics section, created exclusively by internationally recognized Porsche expert Norbert Franz. For instance, it is now possible for the first time to publish the exact quantities of all the 911 Turbos ever produced, and, furthermore, all the chassis numbers of the original performance-enhanced vehicles (911 Turbo WLS) are documented for the very first time.
In the spring of 1975, the first Porsche 911 Turbo took pride of place in the showrooms of the Porsche dealerships. Not quite 40 years later, the car that changed the world has become a legend. “40” – Porsche 911 Turbo – Aircooled Years” tells the story of this iconic sports car, starting with the prototype first unveiled at the IAA 1973 and culminating with the last air-cooled 993 Turbo released in model year 1998. With the introduction of turbocharging into the series production of sports cars the young Porsche company provided ample proof of its courage and innovative daring. The extraordinary success of the 911 Turbo contributed to the legendary reputation of the sports car brand. In addition to the series-production vehicles, the book deals in detail with special series, such as the ten 930 Turbo S vehicles produced for Sonauto, the 964 Turbo Cabriolet, the 993 Turbo Cabriolet and the 911 Turbo “package cars” from 1994, whose existence is known only to a few even today. The book was written in close collaboration with the historical archive of Porsche AG and shows previously unpublished photographs.
The high-quality printed book now has over 270 pages and a cardboard sleeve and has been assigned book number ISBN-13: 978-3-9814592-1-0. It can be ordered as of now for €99.80 from the Internet site of the publishing house www.berlinmotorbooks.de and pre-ordered in bookstores.

NOOO WWAAAYY!!!
LUCKY MAN!!!
Steve MC Queens 1976 sold last month at Mecuns for $1.950 000 ($1.95mil)
Thasty being one of the first of the early ones with perceived greatness cos an actor farted in the seat. (Im sure they didn't smell it was Steve Mc Queen after all)
For yours if I had the money I would pay between Five Hundred and Seven hundred Grand .
that's for drivable condition , as long as no rust and 90 percent original parts still on car, paint makes no difference. pricing closer to 7oo thousand for being more complete as it was when it left factory,
ie; original radio, spare tire, compressor, toolkit, documented history that sort of thing
I hope you are appreciated of it and it makes you smile (not for the money) but for the individuality of it because you have a gem, plus its the last year, plus it has the best gearbox etc etc
Im trying to live as long as I can im secretly hoping that the other 22 owners of my Aussie model will all die to be buried or cremated with their cars hehe so then I can be individual too!
what do others think??

I talked to the owner of number 3/10 today, and he would not sell the car.
A valuation report is to be done at the moment and will be around 700.000€.
Proofs of our book project (Norbert Franz and me) arrived today
