Next I will need to choose the wheels. Probably refinish the BBS RS at first and then look for a set of Fuchs in 16 in with polished lip. Anyone know of a specialist is refinishing the BBS wheels...much appreciated.
Next one I am gonna retro mod / track day set up- seems like a 964 is a better platform for that project and the 930 should be kept original.
Then I will be left with auto climate and AC to contend with.

Excited about interior
Edwin at Custom Stitch in Buchannan and work magic in his shop. He's down small jobs for me and big jobs alike. Always knocks it out of the park. For the 930 he is recovering and restoring 100% of the interior.

Looking really good. Nice call on staying with the original color. Who's doing the paint? Looks like a kickass downdraft booth.

few more pics
The shop is in Buchannan and operates under Hot Rod Hotel. Majority of work is private collection. The doors are open to good projects - work is show quality but very reasonable rates.

test fitting the interior
I am really happy with the work at custom stitch. take a look ...carpet is ready to go in! I know the 3 pt belts are not period correct, but I am putting my kids in this are and will feel a lot better with them strapped in.
The big question is whether I will mount the rear speakers on the deck. it looks so clean without them.

decided to recover the dash as well
With all the glass out, I figured it was the best time to have the shop replace the headliner and recover the dash and kick panel.
The BBS RS were also sent out to be stripped and polished by NJ Bent Wheel. If anyone reading this is in the NJ area...Jay at NJ Bent Wheel is awesome. Pick and drop off, great prices and perfect work.
Wheels are going back on with the 21/28mm spacers with 225 and 255 wide rubber.
Here are some pictures of the black wet sanded. Painter tells me no wax for 6 months...
